Olympic Live Site At Northcote

The Northcote Shopping Centre is hosting ‘North Shore City Beijing Olympics Live’ in the town square of the centre for the duration of the Beijing Olympics.  This will allow the public to see the Olympics on a Huge Outdoor Screen while also enjoying entertainment such as bands, cultural groups & lion dances.  The screen and entertainment is free to the public.

There is also a special Opening Ceremony on Friday, 8th August from 6pm featuring performances from Chinese Cultural Groups, Lion & Dragon Dances and the five Olympic Mascots.  The Mascots will be wandering around the "live site" posing for photographs.

The cultural groups and Olympic Mascots will be back in Northcote on Saturday, 9 August from 12noon - 2pm.
