Porirua Police are currently in attendance at the BP Service Station in Porirua. A brief case has been left on the forecourt of the service station. The immediate area has been cordoned off and specialist staff have been called to investigate.
Police are urging the public to change their normal driving route home this evening to avoid the area as delays can be expected. They are also requesting that any person who may have inadvertantly left their briefcase at the service station to contact them urgently. Inspector Ian Harris - Central Communications Centre.
