News From Sandwiches

Hope your week is off to a good start. Ours is.

We've just finalised and launched our new pizza menu, a brand new wine list, and a pretty impressive new range of cocktails (if we do say so ourselves) so come on down for dinner and / or a drink and check them out!
Remember we are open for dinner and drinks 4pm - late Tuesday till Saturday, so don't be shy.

As we told you in the last email it's all happening down here this week. Rodger Fox and his wellington Jazz Orchestra are just tuning up as we pen this, missed it? Make sure you check it out next month, we really can't speak highly enough of it.

Tonight it's Mark Pritchard. We've talked him up a lot, many of you may not have heard of him (or may have but just don't realise it - did we mention he's a man with a thousand aliases) but trust us it'll be a night worth being at. If you're a fan of forward thinking electronic music, of any genre, make sure you come down and don't miss this one.
Tickets still on sale and only $20 for 2.

Thursday: It's the good 'ole Rumpus Room with hosts Wade and Stu, and 2 for 1 pizzas all night. Check out our new Tiger jugs while you're at it as well. Good stuff.

Friday - Minuit. The album release show.
This will be a goody! The new album is getting rave reviews all over the place, and we're super excited that they have chosen us as the venue to throw the official release party. Dunsta and Funknslocuts are in DJ support, so expect wall to wall party goodness. Can't wait!
Tickets $20+bf - get in quick.

Saturday - In association with the Stereotype lads we bring you Klaus Hill (Ministry of Sound - Australia)
If a DJ/Producer is measured by consistency then surely Klaus Hill is up there with the greatest. For over a decade Klaus has filled rooms with his trademark ball & wall tearing sound that has seen him become a firm favourite on the Australian and worldwide DJ circuit and a Producer whose sound is instantly recognisable. Unique, inspired and original, watching Klaus pogo his way through a DJ set is a sight to behold!
Join us for a quality night of underground house music and party atmosphere with the Stereotype Djs Vernon, Daymon, and Johnny Kingdom in full support.
Tickets only $15+bf from here.

Next weekend we have two great parties with DJ Philippa on the Friday, and the Phat Taster party with Black Sun Empire on the Saturday.
Oh, and our 6th birthday weekend is coming up on the weekend of 21st / 22nd August. That's right 6 years!!! The Friday is already locked in with Bass Frontiers and Spectrasoul from the UK, which will be amazing. Stay tuned for the saturday line up coming soon. It's our birthday and we'll... well party if we want to!

More info on all of these gigs is on the website and tickets are on sale.

See you on the dance floor, or perhaps at the bar for refreshments.
