Cyclist Is Identified By Police
Police have now identified a cyclist who was seriously injured in a crash in Jones Street, Whanganui on Monday night. (8th February)
The man is in his 20's and believed to be from Whanganui.
Police are now working to locate and notify his family members and are therefore unable to release his name publically at this stage.
The man has been transferred to Wellington Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Anyone with information about the collision, which happened around 11.25pm and involved a red Mazda Eunos car, is asked to contact Whanganui police on 06 349 0600
