Lotto Heats Things Up
Two Lotto players from Porirua and Dunedin won’t be too worried about the onset of winter after winning a $500,000 share of Lotto’s First Division in tonight’s draw, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
“This win means these players will be able to crank up the heat without worrying about the bills, buy some good thermals, and even take off to a sunny climate, so winter won’t be such a concern for them,” says Mr McLeay.
The winning tickets were sold at Titahi Bay Four Square in Porirua and Centre City New World Lotto in Dunedin.
A Strike Four prize of $166,007 was also won by a player who purchased their ticket from Take Note Rotorua.
Powerball First Division has jackpotted again this week and will be worth an estimated $9 million next week.
Meanwhile, Noelene Porter from Feilding was tonight’s other big winner after spinning up $125,000 on Lotto’s Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Countdown Victoria Avenue in Whanganui. The serial number is 684-30397199-20XX.
“Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries outlet."
