Update on Roading Conditions No 4 (11.50am) Monday,

Drivers are being urged to be aware and
careful on southern roads as surface flooding and high river
levels are causing problems.
Roads that are closed or
affected by flooding around the Southland District today
are:
Blackmount Redcliffe Road CLOSED (The Key to Weir
Road) Te Anau - Upukerora Road CLOSED Te Anau -
Ramparts Road CLOSED (from the Te Anau Mossburn Highway to
Mt York Road) Te Anau - Golf Course Road CLOSED Dipton
South Hillend Road CLOSED (between Hundred Line East Road
and Benmore Road)
Hedgehope Area - surrounding land
flooded, likely roads will be flooding in the next couple of
hours. Mandeville Area - surrounding land flooded, likely
roads will be flooding in the next couple of
hours. Tanner & Hokonui School Rd area - Flooding in low
areas across road (Still passable at this stage) Taramoa
Area - Surface flooding - rain easing (road still
passable)
