Avondale: Cyclist Involved In Crash Sought
Auckland police are seeking assistance in identifying an elderly male cyclist involved in a crash in Avondale this morning. The man is in Auckland hospital and is not able to speak to staff.
The man is described as being 60 to 70 years of age and Chinese in appearance.
He is about 5'6" and of slim build. He was wearing light blue or grey jeans and worn, black, Nike running shoes.
He was also wearing a blue jacket over a green woolen jersey and a grey and white striped polo shirt.
The man was riding an old green mountain bike and had two 10 litre paint buckets with him that it would appear he had hanging over the handles of the bike.
Anyone having any information as to the possible identity of the man is asked to contact the Avondale police on Ph (09) 8205700.
