OVERNIGHT MOTORWAY CLOSURES
28 August – 2 September

The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 8pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday 3 September.

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Oteha Valley Road northbound on ramp 29 August
• Oteha Valley Road southbound on ramp 2 September
• Northbound lanes between Greville Road off ramp and Oteha Valley Road on ramp 30 August
• Greville Road northbound on ramp 30 August
• Northbound lanes between Tristram Avenue off ramp and Upper Harbour Highway on ramp 29 August
• Tristram Avenue northbound on ramp 29 August

AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE (SH1)
• Curran Street on ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge northbound lanes one and two 29 August – 2 September (approx 7.30pm – 4am)

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (SH1)
• Fanshawe Street southbound off ramp 29 August – 2 September (approx 10.30am – 5am)
• Wellington Street northbound on ramp - to end November

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)
• Khyber Pass Road southbound on ramp 29 August – 2 September (approx 10pm – 5am)
• St Marks Road southbound on ramp 28 August (7am) to 30 August (5am) (closed 24 hours)
• St Marks Road southbound on ramp 30 August – 2 September
• Gillies Avenue southbound off ramp 29 August – 2 September (approx 10pm – 5am)
• Greenlane southbound off ramp 29 August - 2 September
• Ellerslie/Panmure Highway southbound on ramp 2 September
• Mt Wellington Highway northbound on ramp 1 September
• East Tamaki Road northbound on ramp 1 September
• Northbound lanes between Manukau off ramp and Te Irirangi Drive on ramp 29 August – 2 September
• Southbound lanes between Te Irirangi Drive off ramp and Manukau on ramp 29 August – 2 September
• Manukau southbound on ramp 31 August – 1 September (Note: Subject to other work in the area, please check before travelling)
• Takanini southbound off ramp 29 August
• SH22/Drury southbound off ramp 1 September

NORTH WESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)
• Wellesley Street eastbound off ramp 29 August
• Hobson Street westbound on ramp 30 August
• Newton Road westbound on ramp 31 August
• St Lukes Road/Western Springs westbound on ramp 30 August
• Patiki Road eastbound off ramp 30 August (approx midnight – 5am)
• Te Atatu Road eastbound on ramp (diamond) 30 August (approx 9pm to midnight)
• Royal Road eastbound on ramp 31 August

SOUTH WESTERN MOTORWAY (SH20)
• Neilson Street northbound off ramp 30 August
• Neilson Street southbound off ramp 1 September
• Rimu Road northbound on ramp 28 August (7am – 7pm)
• Rimu Road northbound on ramp 30 August
• Northbound lanes between Coronation Road off ramp and Rimu Road on ramp 29 August
• Coronation Road northbound on ramp 29 August
• Southbound lanes between Massey Road off ramp and Puhinui Road on ramp 31 August
• Massey Road southbound on ramp 31 August
• Southbound lanes between Puhinui Road off ramp and on ramp 29 August
• Northbound lanes between Vogler Drive and McLaughlins Road 30 August

MANUKAU EXTENSION MOTORWAY (SH20 – 1)
• Southbound lanes between Lambie Drive off ramp and SH1 on ramps 30 August – 2 September
• Lambie Drive southbound on ramp 30 August – 2 September
• SH20 eastbound to SH1 northbound link 30 August – 2 September
• SH20 eastbound to SH1 southbound link 30 August – 2 September
