Eat Pray Love Charity Movie Premiere

Eat Pray Love Charity Movie Premiere

New Zealand’s very first screening of the much anticipated Eat, Pray, Love movie premiere will be a night of celebration for a good cause.

Women’s cancer charity Look Good Feel Better will host a night of bubbles, treats and goodie bags at Events Cinemas in Newmarket, Auckland before the movie is unveiled on the big screen.

Eat, Pray, Love is based on the memoir of writer Elizabeth Gilbert and has become an international best seller.

In the movie, Liz Gilbert, played by award-winning actress Julia Roberts, is a middle aged woman who realises she needs to make changes. Liz leaves behind her once perfect life, along with a messy divorce and goes on a search for happiness and self discovery while travelling through Italy, India and Indonesia.

“Eat, Pray Love is a movie that embraces the ever changing experiences of a woman and how life can change without caution, yet every cloud has a silver lining. It’s a similar experience for women dealing with cancer, and for those women Look Good Feel Better provides that silver lining,” says Yvonne Brownlie, general manager of Look Good Feel Better.

Look Good Feel Better provides the opportunity for women to attend free makeover workshops around the country, to embrace their beauty and build confidence as they face the challenge of a lifetime – undergoing treatment for cancer.

Address: Event Cinemas 77 Broadway Newmarket Auckland
