Search continues for Wellington man

Police continuing to investigate disappearance of Wellington man Robert Logan

Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of 51 year-old Wellington man Robert Logan and need help to piece together his last known movements.

Mr Logan's white 1991 Nissan Sunny station wagon was found parked at the Owhiro Bay car park last Friday afternoon.

Police say a huge search team of around 60, made up of land SAR volunteers as well as the Police dive squad and maritime unit and Police staff from Horowhenua and Wairarapa spent the weekend searching for Mr Logan in areas he is known to frequent.

Whilst the search failed to find any trace of Mr Logan, Police now know that a week ago today, last Thursday evening at around 9-30pm, Mr Logan went to the Woolworths supermarket in Kilbirnie to purchase a few items.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Mr Logan in Woolworths that night to phone us. Do you recognise him from the attached photo?

Police believe this is the last confirmed sighting of Mr Logan before he went missing and it's vital that anyone with any information on his whereabouts should phone Police on (04) 381 2000 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
