Man Causes Tension At Sky Tower
MEDIA RELEASE
Police were at SkyCity Auckland today in response to a male person on the skywalk who was refusing to re-enter the building after being part of a skywalk group.
Members of the Police negotiating team and Sky City staff remained with the man for 3 ½ hours on the skywalk. At the conclusion the male was successfully brought back into the building to be treated by medical staff.
During this time the skywalk remained closed to the public.
There were no injuries to the male person.
