EM to help clean up City of Christchurch after earthquake

NatureFarm NZ, manufacturer of Effective microorganisms (EM), is supplying its organic microbial product to support the ongoing clean up of the disaster struck city. One of EM's many functions includes odour control and waste management. Through this it will aid in restoring polluted water and waterways. In addition it was shown to be extremely effective at reducing odours, composting food waste and other waste quickly.

On top of using EM as part of the city wide clean up, Naturefarm, also based in Christchurch, is offering Canterbury households its Bio-friend product free of charge. Completely natural, Bio-friend was developed for use in controlling odours in household wheelie bins. This versatile ready to use spray pack can be used for odour control around the home, garden or even on make shift toilets so many people are being forced to endure through this tragedy.

Mike Daly, Managing Director of NatureFarm commented "This is a tragic time for Canterbury and New Zealanders alike. My hope, along with a swift rebuild of this wonderful city, is for EM to help reduce waste and odour to make Christchurch more liveable for its citizens. By offering Bio-friend to households we may also be able to improve the day-to-day quality of living for some of the hardest hit Cantabrians".
