‘Give a Garden’ to Your Mum this Mother’s Day

‘Give a Garden’ to Your Mum this Mother’s Day

You can ‘Give a Garden’ to mum this Mother’s Day, with no dirt under the nails, just good warm fuzzies.

‘Give a Garden’, available at The Body Shop stores Nationwide from 18th April is just like Jack’s magic beans.

The gift contains one lightweight gardening trowel, one packet of Yates seeds, one 30ml Hemp Hand Protector from The Body Shop, an information tag telling your mum all she needs to know about this innovative gift and of course the gift of a garden.

You see, these seeds, small as they may seem, can do great things. Each gift sold will help provide tools, seedlings and other materials to create or maintain a garden for vulnerable, orphaned or unaccompanied children.

These gardens will not just grow minds through teaching the children the art of agriculture, allowing them a skill to use throughout their lives, it will also provide nutritious vegetables to fill their hungry bellies.

Be proud in the fact you and your mum are growing minds and changing lives.

Children on the Edge

Children on the Edge was founded by the late Dame Anita Roddick and exists to help the most marginalised and vulnerable children worldwide, in particular those without parental care.

Children on the Edge NZ was founded in 2006 to support refugee and migrant children in Thailand who have been forced to flee their homeland of Burma. We do this by supporting local schools and boarding houses on the Burma/Thai border, which are home to orphaned and unaccompanied children from Burma. Here we provide some of their basic needs including nutritious meals, drinking water, a place of safety and access to an education.

This magical little gift has been made possible with the support of Yates, The Body Shop and Lithoprint.

Together with you, we’re giving the forgotten children of Burma a place of safety, free from war, persecution, oppression, hunger and child trafficking.

Give a Garden, $25 each, available through The Body Shop stores Nationwide.* The trowel is made from 20% recycled plastic
