Training and Employment in the transport industry could give you many things you might be looking for, and will up skill you for work anywhere in the world.

“DRIVER SHORTAGE CONTINUES TO BE AN INTERNATIONAL PROBLEM”

for the foreseeable future, transport of goods by road will remain 100% dependent on the services of skilled and motivated drivers;

commercial road transport around the world has suffered persistent shortages of skilled drivers which are most acute during periods of economic growth and low unemployment;

driver shortages have only been temporarily alleviated by the international financial crisis and recession and have already been recognised as a resurgent threat to countries where economic recovery has commenced;

Negative views about road transport don’t help recruitment and the lack of public awareness of career opportunities in road transport employment discourage new drivers. The demographic imbalance stemming from a large section of the driver population approaching retirement and a severe lack of younger entrants to replace them is also an obvious problem;”
