Changes to Rubbish Collections Due to Queen's Birthday

Changes to Rubbish and Recycling Collections Due to Queen's Birthday

Auckland Council is advising residents that no council kerbside rubbish, recycling and paper collections will occur in the region on Queen's Birthday (Monday 6 June).

Those collections have been rescheduled to occur a day later, on Tuesday 7 June. Collections for the rest of the week will also occur a day later than normal, with the usual collection schedule resuming on Monday 13 June.

This is a change for residents on the North Shore and in parts of West Auckland where previously council collections were not rescheduled due to public holidays.

Residents are reminded that on their new council collection date over this period rubbish bins and bags should be placed kerbside by 7am as usual, along with recycling wheelie bins if they are due to be emptied.

Residents with private collection services should contact their supplier(s) directly to obtain those providers' Queen's Birthday collection dates.
