Arrested Greencross Medical Cannabis Director Interviewed on TV Tonight
GreenCross NZ Director and high-profile medical cannabis user Billy McKee will be interviewed as part of TV3's documentary "High Time?" on Inside NZ tomorrow night.
Only last week, Mr McKee was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis for supply, as well as cultivation of cannabis for supply. The 55 year-old amputee requires the use of a prosthetic leg and wheelchair for mobility.
He has been the Director of GreenCross NZ now for about 10 years and plans to fight the police charges, saying they are the result of an undercover operation and are politically motivated. Police have already issued an order for the GreenCross NZ website to be shut down.
