North Shore Police are appealing to the public for information after an aggravated robbery at a house in suburban Pinehill earlier today.

Police say that about 1.00am this morning, Thursday 13 October 2011 three unidentified males entered a residential address in Killybeggs Drive in the North Shore suburb of Pinehill.

The three males threatened the occupants and took a number of household items before disappearing into the night.

One of the male offenders was carrying a firearm.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Batty of the North Shore CIB is leading the investigation into this incident.

“This type of crime is of significant concern to us,” he said.

“It appears these three offenders have left the scene via an unknown vehicle. We want to speak to anyone who was in the Killybeggs Drive area in suburban Pinehill at about 1.00am especially those who may have seen suspicious activity of any kind.”

“Anyone with information is urged to contact the North Shore Policing Centre on 09 477 5000 or alternatively call Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111,” Detective Senior Sergeant Batty said:
