Santa Comes Early For Seven Lotto Winners Around The Country
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse, except for the loud shouts from seven winners around the country after winning $142,857 each with Lotto First Division tonight, says NZ Lotteries’ Acting Chief Executive, Warren Salisbury.
“Santa has arrived early for these winners, so Christmas will be a truly joyous occasion for them all,” he says.
The winning tickets were purchased at Airport Oaks Pharmacy and Tom's Lucky Lotto Shop in Auckland, New World Regent, Whangarei, Kerikeri New World, Mylotto Wellington, J'mall Lotto also in Wellington, and Wakatipu New World, Queenstown.
Lotto Powerball jackpotted tonight and will be worth an estimated $5 million next week.
Strike Four was struck, with a lucky winner from Paper Plus Taupo picking up $621,414.
Meanwhile, O’Lando from Porirua won $100,000 on Lotto’s Winning Wheel on the live draw this evening.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Levin Lucky Lotto. The serial number was 308-57642261-20xx.
Anyone who bought their ticket from the above winning store should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
