Auckland Police Media Release
Three police officers are the
subject of an employment investigation after they wore
matching identification numbers at an Auckland Council lead
operation today.
Police were there to support Council's operation in dismantling the tent's pitched in Aotea Square.
Police Policy is for each officer to wear their own identification number.
An employment procedure has
commenced into this breach of
policy.
