Newmarket, Auckland
At about 2.29pm this afternoon an industrial accident occurred in Newmarket, Auckland.
A window cleaner contracted to clean windows at the Lion Nathen Building, Carlton Gore Road, Newmarket fell approximately 30 meters from the roof of the building.
The window cleaner, an 18 year old female, has been admitted to Auckland Hospital with severe injuries and is in a critical condition.
Police and Ambulance attended the incident.
Occupational Safety and Health have been notified and are attending.
The investigation will be completed by OSH assisted by Police.
