Phone Number Change for Council’s Huntly Office
The Waikato District Council are encouraging customers to make use of their 0800 call free number if they are wanting to get hold of the Huntly Office.
From Monday 27 February, the current 07 828 7551 number will still be operative, but the publicly advertised number on council’s website, stationery and forms will be the 0800 492 452 call free number.
There will be no change to the Huntly library telephone number.
General manager, stakeholder & relations, Jo Ireland said the main reason for this change was to centralise calls to the council through the council’s call centre.
“This change will also provide free calling for customers outside our district and the ability to monitor call volumes as they will be centralised through the call centre,” she said.
