Police Recover Deceased Body At Marina

North Shore Police are at Bayswater Marina where the deceased body of a male in his fifties has been recovered from the water.

Police went to the Marina at about 1.00am this morning Thursday 20 September 2012 when the man who has been living aboard his boat was reported missing by relatives.

The Police launch Deodar immediately went to the Marina. A combined search was conducted in the surrounding waters and on the ground. The man’s body was found at dawn. There are no suspicious circumstances.

A post mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death. The matter will be referred to the coroner. The name of the deceased will not be released until family and relatives have been informed.
