Charges upgraded in Operation Kirsten

Counties Manukau Police investigating the death of Tamati Tupe in Mt Wellington on 30 September 2012 have upgraded an assault charge previously laid against a 17 yr old male to Murder. The man will appear in the Manukau Youth court on Thursday 8 November together with the 15 year old male also charged with Mr Tupe's murder last week.
