Masterton Police are currently investigating an assault on a 14-year-old female, who was walking in the Queens Elizabeth II Park at about 8:30am yesterday morning (Tuesday the 13th of November 2012).
The young female was walking along the path, running beside the river, between the Swing Bridge and Colombo Road.
Police would like to hear from anyone in the area at this time, especially a member of the public who was walking a small black dog at that time and may have seen the incident, causing the offender to run off
