It’s time to Pack The Bus again!

The Mission and event partners The Breeze, are excited to let you know the annual Go Pack The Bus Christmas toy and food collection starts on Monday 19 November. Every day between 10.00am and 2.00pm until Friday 30 November, a Christmas-themed Go Wellington bus will be visiting schools and supermarkets right throughout the Greater Wellington region, collecting Christmas toys and food for families in need.

Pack The Bus is a great way to help families that may not be as fortunate as the rest of us, and will ensure even families having a tough time, can experience the joy of giving. The Mission works hard every day of the year to help families who are struggling to achieve a quality life, but Christmas can be particularly stressful for many families. Last Christmas, thanks to events such as Pack The Bus, The Mission distributed over 1,000 Christmas food parcels and 5,600 new toys to clients of The Mission and other social services in the Greater Wellington area.
