The male driver of a car is deceased after a car v logging-truck crash, just north of the Schiska Rd/SH 1 intersection, Kaipara District.
This occurred at about 10.57am. Emergency services are at the scene. The incident is being investigated by the Police Serious Crash Unit.
A diversion to Maungawhai is in place at Kaiwaka.
No further details are available until next-of-kin have been notified.
