Help Counties Manukau Police Find Anna

Help Counties Manukau Police Find Anna

Counties Manukau Police are concerned about the whereabouts of missing person Anna Hynes and are urging anyone who may have information about where Anna is to call Police immediately.

Anna was last seen at her home address in Manurewa by her husband at about 19:00 on Tuesday 27th November. Anna told her husband she was heading to Te Kauwhata to see a friend that evening.

It is understood by Police that Anna did stay with a friend in Te Kauwhata that evening, but she has not been seen since she left that friend the next day.

Anna has missed several important appointments that she would have normally attended and this has increased the fears of her family and friends.

Her husband has stated that he believes Anna could be travelling north to Taipa. Bank account information indicates that Anna last used her bank card on 27 November 2012. Her cell phone was last monitored in the Kaitaia area on 28 November 2012, but is now switched off.

Manurewa Area Commander, Inspector Richard Wilkie says, “An e-text has been sent to Anna’s cell phone asking her to contact Police on 111 to confirm that she is ok. We have also alerted Police in the Far north of Anna's disappearance."

If you know where Anna Hynes is please contact Counties Manukau Police immediately on 09 261 1300 or to provide information anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
