The Biggest Day Out This Summer: The New Zealand Beer Festival

Saturday 23rd March 2013

After a record sell-out in 2012 The New Zealand Beer Festival returns to The Cloud on Saturday 23rd March 2013, bigger and better than ever before. The festival continues its focus on premium beer, food and music to engineer the ultimate Kiwi day out.

An unprecedented selection of over 125 craft beers and ciders will be on offer at Auckland’s favourite waterfront venue. One hundred and twenty five!

World-class food vendors are lining up to match their fare, including everything from gourmet wild-foods and burgers to paella and ribs. In 2012 half a tonne of ribs sold in just two hours, in ’13 they’ve been asked to bring a tonne and break the record.

With beer and food in hand, the festival seduces your ears with some of the freshest sounds in an exciting entertainment line-up to be announced very soon.

Back to the beer, festival-goers experience some of the finest ranges from award winning breweries like Tuatara, Epic, Boundary Road, 1010, Sprig & Fern, Wigram and Deep Creek.

If beer’s not your thing then Weka, Hallertau, Zeffer, Rochdale, Old Mout, Bounders and Rekorderlig are on board to provide equally delicious ciders. There’ll even be a smattering of winemakers about for those with a taste for the grape.

The New Zealand Beer Festival sold out in 2012, so make sure you lock it into your summer social calendar immediately and tell your crew - Saturday 23rd March 2013.

Pre-sale tickets will be announced first to VIP members of the New Zealand Beer Festival. Register as a member at www.beerfestival.co.nz now to get the scoop before anyone else!
