The Northland Field Days is the largest event held in Northland, and the second largest agribusiness event in New Zealand. Over 550 exhibitors participate, attracting in excess of 27,000 visitors to the event over the three days. Located on a purpose-built 36 hectare site in Dargaville, the Northland Field Days is run by a not-for-profit society and is delivered by a combination of volunteer committee, local helpers, exhibitors, contractors and a small number of onsite staff.

Te Houtaewa Beach Race Challenge - Runs and Walks

The Te Houtaewa Challenge has been running for over 21 years, and is one of the most challenging beach races in New Zealand! Located on the 90 Mile Beach, the Te Houtaewa challenge consists of four races; The Ultra Marathon which is 60 km, the Marathon 42 km and both Half Marathon Run and Half Marathon Walk are 21 km long. There is also a Cycle Race, tickets for the cycles are on Eventfinda also. Busses will be transporting runners/bikers from our designated meeting area at the Kaitaia Town Clock, from there you will be taken to the start of your preferred marathon. After marathon running and cycling are complete, there is an opportunity to explore our Race Day Village which will be packed with the sights, sounds and tastes of the far north!
