Broken down truck - causing large delays

Police and other services are at a broken down truck on State Highway 1 Pukerua Bay.

This has caused large delays back to as far as Otaki for southbound for traffic.

There is no hard shoulder or other area that the truck can be towed to. The services of a large tow truck have been sort and we are hoping to have it removed shortly.

Police ask drivers to drive safely over the Christmas Holiday period
