2012 road toll now 307
The provisional road toll
for 2012 has increased by one, following the death of a
crash victim in hospital.
The death also brings the
Christmas/New Year holiday road toll to six.
occurred at 9.25am on 31 December on State Highway 1 near
Whakapara, north of Whangārei.
The victim, an 81 year-old
woman, was a passenger in a car which appears to have
collided with another car at an
