A 32-year-old man is appearing in the
Whangärei District Court today facing an assault charge
following a family violence incident in Kamo on Friday
(January 4) night.
After the incident at the Kamo address, a 34-year-old woman was taken to Whangärei Hospital with head injuries and is currently in a critical condition.
The 32-year-old man is also facing a charge of breach of bail.
