At 9.15 p.m. on
Sunday 2nd February 2013 Police, Ambulance and Fire Service
attended a serious crash on the Bluff Foreshore area, where
a single male occupant was trapped in a vehicle.
The male
was cut from the vehicle by Fire Service and transferred to
Southland Hospital in a critical condition.
He has since
been transferred to Dunedin Hospital, and remains in a
critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit in an induced
coma.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is investigating and
speed was a factor in this crash.
