5.06 pm HKZ Hunua Responded to the Hunua
Ranges for a male patient who had a mountain biking
accident. He was transported to Middlemore Hospital in a
status 2 condition.
7.53 pm HLN Great Barrier
Island Responded to Great Barrier Island for a female
patient with a medical condition. She was transported to
ACH.

HKZ Whangarei Hospital NICU retrieval from Whangarei
Hospital
10.50 am HLN Manukau Harbour Responded to
Manukau Harbour for a boat upturned. Stood down en route.
4.30 pm HLN Karioitahi Responded to Karioitahi for a
paraglide incident. Stood down en route.
8.50 pm
HLN Henderson Responded to Henderson for a search and
rescue. Stood down on arrival as patient found by police.
11.17 pm HLN Matarangi Responded to Matarangi for a car
that had rolled on the beach. Two patients were transported
to ACH in status 2 conditions.

Snells Beach for a male patient who had been injured when
his jet-boat ran aground. He was transported to ACH in a
status 2 condition.
2.06 pm HLN Onewhero Responded to
Onewhero for a female patient who had a motor-cross accident
and had fallen down a bank. She was transported to
ACH

Among Thursday’s main talking points:
We are apparently on track for a margin-of-error $75 million surplus, now in sight for 2014/15. But this sickly creature is hobbling out of the lab on the basis of all kinds of facilitative conjuring: such as trimming by $200 million the amount of new spending next time around.
With this strictly nominal surplus in sight, the 1984-ish justification for eternal austerity will have a news talisman: namely, getting Crown debt down to 20% of GDP by 2020. More>>
