Title: Man Dies, Two Arrested, One On The Run
Two men, a 19 year-old and a 36 year-old, were
arrested last night after an assault on a man in Mt Albert
Rd and will appear in the Auckland District Court today
charged with Common Assault. Police are looking for a third
person believed to have been involved in the incident.
Michael Roberts, 48, died after an altercation in his
Three Kings home at about 7pm. His body will undergo a
post-mortem examination this morning and his death is
currently being treated as unexplained.
The 19 year-old
accused was located at a Westmere address while the 36
year-old was found by Police in nearby Grey Lynn.
Police
and forensic experts will today examine the Mt Albert Rd
address where the alleged assault took place, as well as a
vehicle believed to have been used by the accused that was
recovered from the Larchwood Ave, Westmere, address.
