Arrest in Shalvin Prasad Homicide enquiry
Counties Manukau Detectives have arrested two people in relation to the Death of Shalvin Prasad.
The two men aged 18 and 20, both from Papatoetoe, will appear in the Manukau District Court on 15 February 2013 jointly charged with Shalvin's Murder.Shalvin's family were advised of the arrests this evening as they near the end of the traditional two week mourning period.
Detective Inspector Dave Lynch says that although Police are pleased to have made early arrests there is still a lot of work for Police to do to complete the investigation and prepare the file for court.

Police are also interested in any sightings of a distinctive lime green 2008 Holden Commodore SV6 and/or a 2001 silver/grey Nissan Bluebird Sylphy between the Papakura CBD area and Kingseat in the evening of Wednesday 30 January from 9.00pm through to the early morning of Thursday 31 January 2013.
