Homicide Investigation in Counties-Manukau Police
District
Counties Manukau CIB commenced a homicide
investigation upon the discovery of a body at an address in
Fiesta Drive Half Moon Bay at about 11.30pm on Friday
evening 15 February 2013.
The body is believed to be that
of a 24 year old male who resided on his own at the
address.
The body was discovered following an earlier
report received by Police of a motor car crashed into a
house on Gossford Drive Pakuranga. The sole occupant and
driver of that vehicle was found with what appeared to be
knife wounds and was covered in blood.
The driver is
currently being treated in Middlemore Hospital.
Assistance
from the public is sought by Police in relation to the
movements of the car in the hours of 9.30pm to 11pm on
Friday evening between those two locations.
The car is a 2
door 1996 silver Mitsubishi Mirage Sports.
Anyone who has
information that will assist them is asked to call Counties
