Fatal crash on SH2
There has been a head-on collision between 2 cars on SH2, Bay of Plenty, between Bell Road and Manoeka Road. One person has died and the firebrigade is freeing another person who is trapped.
Police are examining the scene and the road is closed.
Diversions are available via Tepuke Quarry Road, Cutting Road, and Welcome Bay Road, but it should be noted that this route is not convenient and should be avoided if possible
