Creative Communities NZ funding
The next round of the Creative Communities Palmerston North Scheme is now open for applications. The scheme is for arts groups and individuals seeking funding for arts related projects.
The Funding Scheme aims to support and encourage local people to create opportunities for the community to participate in arts related activities.
There are two streams of funding available in this round. Applications for less than $2,000 will be assessed and allocated by Community Arts Palmerston North. Applications over $2,000 and up to $5,000 will be assessed and allocated by a committee of PNCC.
“Anyone involved in planning a community arts project should consider applying,” Adrian Turner, project co-ordinator said.
“Whether you need $500 to promote your amateur
theatre production, $2,000 for an exhibition of paintings or
$5,000 to stage a community concert, this funding could help
realise your vision.”
Application forms and guidelines
can be picked up from the Council Customer Service Centre
Square-side, Community Arts at the Square Edge; downloaded
from either pncc.govt.nz or communityarts.org.nz; or you can
ring the Council on 356 8199.
Applications for both streams close on Monday 15 April at 4pm. All applications will be considered.
