Arson at Karori Scout Hall
Wellington
Police are appealing for witnesses after a suspicious fire.
Wellington Police are investigating following a
suspicious fire at the Karori Scout Hall situated at
Sunshine Avenue, Karori, Wellington.
At approximately
3.30am this morning Police were notified that there was a
fire at the Karori Scout Hall. The hall was extensively
damaged.
The offender(s) went underneath the hall.
There the offender(s) set fire to a section of the hall
floor.
Detective Sergeant Mike Priston says "We are
appealing for anyone who has information in respect to the
fire that occurred this morning to contact Wellington
Police.
If anyone has any information about the
suspicious fire I would encourage them to come forward."
