Frankton parking drop-in session
21 March, 2013
Queenstown Lakes District Council is asking the public for feedback on a number of potential options for managing parking in Frankton.
QLDC transport manager Denis Mander says residents have had concerns about some residential streets being over-parked and Council has been taking a closer look at the issue.
“We’ve identified a number of options for managing parking so that there’s a better balance between the needs of residents and other users,” he said.
“Before we put these options out for wider comment, we’d like to find out if residents think we’ve got it right.”
A drop in session is being held on Wednesday 27 March 4.30pm – 6.30pm St Margaret’s Church corner of Ross and McBride Streets, Frankton.
Members of the transport team will be available to explain the options, answer questions and collect feedback.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
