Waitemata Police seek assistance in identifying suspects in an attempted armed robbery of an Amourguard van outside "The Korner Bar", Kelston at 10 AM on Wednesday 20 March 2013.

A stolen Black Subaru Forrester REG: FYA372 was used to commit the offence and was later recovered on Clayburn Road, Glen Eden.

Detective Steve Norris of the Henderson CIB, Phone (09) 839 0630, is leading this investigation and he requests that anyone with information contact him.

The ministry says the business has failed to recruit and retain quality staff – and says the kaimahi (caregivers) that have been employed are seriously unsuitable for the job, lacking basic knowledge. But Te Roopu Taurima o Manukau doesn’t get all the blame. The report says there’s a significant gap under disability laws to ensure there’s oversight by qualified clinical professionals. More>>
