Attack on AMAC Nurse's Car Could Have Been Done by Anyone

PRESS RELEASE

Attack on AMAC Nurse's Car Could Have Been Done by Anyone

Family Life International NZ was concerned to hear of the fuel line being cut on the car of a nurse who works at AMAC. There is never any excuse for anyone to deliberately attack a person or their property. As a peaceful pro-life organisation, Family Life International NZ would never condone any such activity.

We are concerned however, that both Hilary Graham-Smith of the New Zealand Nurses Organisation, and Dr Morgan Healy of ALRANZ both believe that the damage done to the nurses car was deliberately caused by someone who upholds life from the moment of conception.

“It appears that the Police do not know who carried out the damage to the nurse’s car” said Mrs Colleen Bayer, National Director of Family Life International NZ. “Any theories that it was done by a pro-lifer is speculation.”

“For instance, we know that many men regret the abortions of their girlfriends or wives. It would be legitimate to see if the perpetrator is in fact the father of a child who was aborted at this clinic. It could be of course, a random crime, with nothing to do with the fact that the nurse works at AMAC.”

Family Life International NZ offers advice to pregnant women and girls about all their options. We also offer practical help and support when needed both during and after pregnancy. Through our Project Rachel programme, we offer pathways to hope and healing for women, men and other family members who have experienced baby loss, either through miscarriage, stillbirth or abortion. Concerned women can ring our Option Line 0800 367 5433.
