WAIPAREIRA NETWORKS WITH GLOBAL GIANTS
Whanau Tahi – the way of the future

Whanau Tahi - the development arm of Te Whanau O Waipareira - signed a Memorandum of Understanding with two major players in the global market that could ultimately change the way social services are delivered.

Today, Microsoft New Zealand and Medtech Ltd. confirmed their on-going relationship with the development of the Whanau Tahi Navigator Solution.

The Navigator Solution is built on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Platform and is integrated with Medtech LTD’s Software System.

Waipareira CEO John Tamihere said the special relationship Whanau Tahi has with Microsoft and Medtech would give Waipareira an edge in data collection, solutions and analysis.

“Waipareira has invested a considerable amount in the development of the Whanau Tahi Navigator system,” John said.

“With the help and support of Microsoft and Medtech, this will enable Waipareira to keep looking for solutions, which can only be beneficial for whanau."

Microsoft New Zealand managing director Paul Muckleston said his organisation was wrapt to be associated with Waipareira, who are not afraid to think outside the square.

“Microsoft is pleased to see our platform being used in such an innovative and worthy way to bring about much good in the community,” Paul said.

“We are continually innovating and the tools we develop will underpin Waipareira’s key capabilities to achieve their strategy and we congratulate the Waipareira Board for their vision and foresight as expressed in their 25 Year Strategy.”

Medtech executive director Russell Clarke agreed.

Medtech, the leading platform in New Zealand GP clinics, is continually looking at more efficient ways to operate.

“We see great synergies in having our two systems working together for whanau and we’re glad to be here supporting the launch of Waipareira’s 25 Year strategic plans.” Russell said.
