Late yesterday afternoon the
alarm was raised when an 80 year old Foxton Beach man
failed to return home after going out for a walk with his
The local Police, Search and Rescue, and Fire Service
have searched the area and will recommence at 7 o'clock
Police are asking if the public could ring
should they see an elderly Caucasian male wearing brown
corduroy pants, a black checked shirt, black shoes and
black cap. He is 5'7" with long grey hair, and often
carries his small white dog on a lead.
