·         St John in the South Island reports no major incidents over-night in the South Island
·         Our workload remains steady but is not higher than usual
·         We are monitoring weather situations and staying in contact with other emergency services and Civil Defence.
·         Our South Island vehicles are prepared for the adverse weather conditions, including chains where appropriate.
·         We will be monitoring the situation in Christchurch as it is currently snowing in the city
·         We urge people to be careful when walking outside and especially when driving.
