The school holidays have started with a bang for five Lotto players in Awanui, Ruakaka, Murchison, Christchurch and Wanaka after winning $200,000 each on Lotto’s First Division.

The winning tickets were sold at Awanui Junction Dairy in Awanui, Ruakaka Stationary and Gifts in Ruakaka, Murchison Four Square in Murchison, MyLotto in Christchurch and Paper Plus in Wanaka.

With the cold weather, many kids may get a bit of cabin fever from being stuck indoors, which is never much fun for parents – but with an extra $200,000 coming their way, things will definitely be looking up!

Powerball was not struck this evening and has jackpotted to $9 million.

Strike was not struck tonight and has jackpotted to $600,000..

Meanwhile, Auckland syndicate of three school friends, Flora, Hayley and Tiffany, spun and won $125,000 on tonight’s Winning Wheel.

This week’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Fresh Choice Barrington in Christchurch. The serial number is 872-41183236-20XX.

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet or online at MyLotto.co.nz.
