Work place Fatality:
At 5.20am this morning Tokoroa
Police and emergency services were called to Tram road, in
the Kinleith forestry area of Tokoroa, where it was reported
a work place fatality accident had occurred.
A 45 year
old local Tokoroa man was killed as a result of being hit
by a large log.
He died at the scene. Next of kin have been advised.
Occupational Safety and Health are on site and have the lead in the enquiry.
