Natural Steps Early Childhood Centre, Rosedale, Auckland: Arson

The North Shore Police are investigating a fire at the Natural Steps Early Childhood Centre situated at 78 Apollo Drive, ROSEDALE.

The fire started around 3.15am on Sunday morning. The fire which has caused extensive damage to the building is being treated as suspicious. Police believe this was an isolated incident and are seeking the assistance of the public.

If anyone saw anything suspicious in the Apollo Drive or Rosedale Road area around this time or has any information they feel may assist the Police they are asked to contact the North Shore Police on ph 477 5000, or information can be given anonymously on the Crime Stopper Line ph0800 555111.

New Court Orders, Screening, Guardianship Changes...: Government Ignoring Poverty, Again

It remains to be seen if announcements today will better protect children, but the National Government is forgoing an opportunity to really help kids by ignoring the elephant in the room, which is poverty, Green Party Co-leader Metiria Turei says.
