Organised City Vision Launches Campaign and New Website

At 3.30pm on Sunday, 4 August, City Vision will be officially launching its campaign for the 2013 Auckland Council and Auckland District Health Board at Wesley Community Centre, Sandringham Rd Ext, Auckland.

“We are the only organisation across the Waitemata and Albert-Eden-Roskill wards to have full teams of candidates. Although we are already out campaigning in the streets and marketplace it is traditional to have a Launch and we are delighted that Hon Phil Goff MP, Denise Roche MP and Mayor Len Brown will be our official speakers” says Robert Gallagher, Chair, City Vision.

As the election moves ahead City Vision is proud to launch its new website at www.cityvision.org.nz. With two months to go before voting papers are posted out to electors, City Vision wants people to participate in the debate about Auckland’s future. Our new website helps voters engage. They can find information about what issues really matter in their neighbourhoods. There is plenty of information on City Vision candidates in their area, our values, policies and what we hope to achieve in our communities.

“Our campaign is modern and focussed, and our new site reflects this. City Vision wants to give our communities a strong voice. We are organised, professional and know how to get things done. We look forward to taking our message to Aucklanders over the coming weeks” says Gwen Shaw, City Vision’s Campaign Coordinator.
